“We have always wanted our TV over our fireplace but with all the stone over our fireplace we were not sure how to approach our project, I had gone on line for ideas then received an ad from Appleton Renovations discovering they specialized in Custom Built-ins and Home Theater. During my design consultation I advised I only wanted a mantle with legs, Ken mentioned we would need an area for the electronics & I advised I would buy a cabinet to place next to the fireplace… well that’s when I discovered there wasn’t any store purchased items that would fit my needs so at the last minute I asked Ken to redesign with custom cabinets on bot sides incorporated into the mantle… So happy and relieved Appleton Renovations was able to adjust the design to fit in my very limited space. Project is complete and we absolutely love the Home Theater system and the clean lines of our Entertainment Center.

“Over the last several years we have had Appleton Renovations build Multiple Entertainment Centers in our home. Recently we were reevaluating an area in which we had placed a store purchased entertainment center and realize it just wasn’t working for us, so we reached out to Ken for some design ideas and as always we were very pleased with the vision & direction. As always the project was executed flawless, we love the remote control simplicity of the home theater as well.

“We had been wanting to upgrade our family room with a Entertainment Center and interviewed several companies but frankly everyone just wanted to build a box and place it in our niche, not exactly the goal we were hoping for… In speaking with one of neighbors we asked who did their custom cabinet and they highly recommend Appleton Renovations so we called for a design consultation and within minutes Ken was able to show me ideas and examples of other work they had done similar to mine… At last I was excited and on the right path for what I had hoped for… Project started and finished as promised. “In 2009 we hired Appleton Renovations to retro-fit our existing cabinet to fit a 52” flat panel HDTV, after 6 years we noticed that much larger HDTV’s were available at a reasonable cost so we decided to bring Ken Appleton back over for a design consultation… We said “fit the biggest TV that the room would allow”, we were shocked when Ken said “Great 75” Samsung HDTV is perfect” as always within minutes Ken put together a detailed drawing to full scale allowing us to envision his thoughts. We were very excited! The project came out perfect, our room feels so big & the 75” HDTV is awesome! If you expect the best look no further Appleton Renovations is the best.”

“We purchased a new Samsung TV only to discover it wouldn’t fit in our entertainment center, we contacted Appleton Renovations to see if they could simply retro fit the cabinet… Ken advised he could but the results would be less than satisfactory… he went on to explain the real potential of our room and if we didn’t mind he wanted to sketch up a solution that would completely transform our family room, to be honest we were blown away but then questioned if we wanted to spend the money… after two months of thinking about it and bringing in other companies for their opinion we realized that Appleton Renovations simply had the best idea, no other company even suggested pulling out structure over fireplace… only replacement of cabinets in niche. Anyway the Custom Built-in is done and… WOW what a difference, thank you Appleton Team for transforming our home!
